Worship God Through Sacrifice
Fear in the Bible means to be afraid of God. But it also means to worship God, and true worship is to offer the sacrifice. In this case he was willing to offer Isaac, but God says, I want you to see that it's not your son, but my son who's going to have to die for the sins of the world. And Abraham went and took the ram and offered him up for a burnt sacrifice in the place of his son.
