What Does Being a Textualist Mean in Every Single Statutory Case?
I think it's possible that one day I will cease to have my fundamental view of the Constitution. But what does being a textualist mean in every single statutory case is not obvious, right? And having people who don't have the same political views as you but are still textualists could be a really useful way to see things differently. It might be useful to try to at least imagine why they are doing what they're doing with their ideological preconceptions.
