The Best Anthropologists Are the Old Architects
Anthropologists need to know what every tiny little looks like, and we need to be able to identify ten of them. But you don't ever glue it until you know it's a fitnd once you've got a fit, it's about then trying to do a three dimensional jig saw - not a two-dimensional jig saw. And i can remember doing a case f of a young man whose skull was very badly fractured, and we couldn't get any of the pieces to fit together. Then suddenly, when you got one bit to fit, all the other bits would fit around it. It is just persistence. The best anthropologists are the old anthropologists.
