I think it's almost over-determined that Ukraine is going to need a fourth-generation Western-built platform. The Ukrainian air force was outmatched, but it did what it could. I don't have a dog in this fight as long as it gets to a place where it's no longer flying C-25s. Take back Luhansk, try to take back the occupied territories in the south. And likely try to force Russia to a negotiation on final status of Crimea.
