Is It Possible, in Principle, Ever, to Arrive at a Place Like That?

Do you think it's possible that with, say, mind uploads and artificial general intelligences there might come to a point where there's just not that much for human beings to do? This could be 600 years in the future, but i try to get into the economics literature and not just have a dilettant, superficial understanding of it. How do we go from where we are to day, to that other world? They may take oto things, e take 500 years, but it may take aginot 20 years, or forty years, or 50 years. Ut believe we go moving in that direction.
