"It's like a curse playing for the Edmonton others because the people in Edmonton love it so much yeah you can't do jack shit," he says. "You make a shitload of money but i think hockey players just want to go play in Florida [and] nobody gives a fuck about you" He adds that his mom used to paint mullets and hang out with these guys who were on the Oilers back in the 80s. The former NHL star believes Wayne Gretzky may have gaslit the general manager by letting him take the heat, which would be bad for both parties.
