God's Moving Towards His People
To forgive is unnatural in a way. It's a unique relational repair and bond that human beings do. And if you've ever been forgiven by someone when you totally wronged them, you know the change that takes place. That's what Jeremy is talking about here. God's going to move towards his people in such a great act of forgiveness. All of a sudden the demands of the Torah won't be like what you have to obey. They're going to internalize it in a renovation of the heart so deep that obedience to Yahweh begins to come naturally.
