How to Program on a Univac Computer
In order to get anything done, you have to use a whole lot of instructions. Each instruction only does one very simple and very particular thing. For univac, that was made a little bit easier since the machine code that it used could be represented as alphanumeric. A was add, D was divide, and so on.
