The Myth of the Crucifixion

Pliny mentions Christians worshiping Christ as a God. He writes a letter to Emperor Trajan saying, what should I do with them? But he doesn't mention the destruction of Pompeii or Herculaneum. Strong arguments from silence are like just a quick, I guess absurd example would be like Godzilla walked around Judea. Like, we don't have any sources that say that and there's no good reason to think that Godzilla would exist.
