Is Your Perception Unrelated to What's Out There in the World?
Most of us can agree on what we are seeing in the world, so there's a good chance that's what it looks like or feels like. We probably overestimate how similar people's experiences are because we use language as this kind of common currency to describe experiences. There's a philosophical tradition which is associated with people like emmanuel cant and he would say that out there in the real world, we'll never have direct access to what's out there,. whatever it is. It's not the kind of thing that you will ever know.
