How to Set Up a Strength Program for Your Athletes

I think I need to define strength. There is a thought that strength is all about the amount of force or power you can create. But wrapped into strength in my world is a balanced athlete. An athlete who is balanced and can anchor, let's say, the force of an exertion will be more efficient and less prone to injury. If you go through a neurologic integration, warm up, you may be able to do 70 pounds. And it's not that you've improved that much in terms of strength and really hard work. What you've done is you've become a lot more efficient in how you utilize what your body has to give.
