How to Avoid Awkward Conversations
Mana: If you just say one of those and don't ask a follow up question, that's when a conversation ends awkwardly. So let's do a mini role play to show how this would work. How was your weekend? It was awesome. I went to a baseball game Saturday. Who was playing? Nice. And there are so many options there, right? You could say, do you go to games often? Who's your favorite team? Did you play baseball as a kid? This is all still in the Small Talk realm. There's so much we can do here.
