How Do We Treat Mental Health in This Country?
i practise therapy from an anti rasis and anti capitalist lens, or what in the field would be called liberation psychology. We just don't treat mental health in this country as we basically have a molti billion dollar self help industry to medicate away these emotions that we would like to dub problematic. And enriching people's lives isn't necessarily in the service of the ruling class, unless they can make money it. I'm also pretty open about my perspective as a leftus.
