There's a bigger question about whether or not comic book movies would continue to be the centre of popular culture if more comic book movies were like that. The ingenious, continuous nature of the m c u films created this expectation. And that keeps people on the edge of their seat and looking forwr to the story. I i would like to have a few more of these. It would be nice to have afewo of these. But the big, messy world threatening c g i conclusion to everything from the avenger's films to wan division makes it both predictable, but also global stakes at every turn.
