The Role of RPC Mechanisms in Authoring

All frameworks are now adding some sort of RPC mechanism. It's a layer that allows you to do it, but behind the scenes is doing all the work to split everything out. I think we'll sing a pattern where we'll be creating lots of micro API endpoints,. So I need to get something from the server. I'm not going to think about the various existing API endpoints.
