The comedian was diagnosed with ADD at a young age. He stopped taking medication in his 20s and had great success for 15 years without any medication of any kind. Now, he says the pharmaceutical industry is pushing drugs that make people feel good until they crash. "It's like diagnosing yourself fits our notions about ourselves," he said.
