Modern Language Philosophy and Criticism traces the genealogy of literary criticism. How do you think this history from Aristotle to the present moment can or should inform the ways we read and write about literary texts in 2023? Well, one of the things I can't one of the points I make is a critical reading right now is become I call it political pathologies, where essentially people approach text with either post colonial thing in mind or queer theory or feminism. But sometimes those readings need to be problematized because they can't if you come to the text with these reading glasses.
