The Silence of God

David Frum: In Christ, we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses. He says Jesus knew what it was to experience both the body in pain and betrayal. Frum: The Son of God does not experience the closeness of the Father at Calvary. His cry is not met by a still small voice. It is met by silence.
