In the sixties, rinardo and shelley were looking for a group of people that they could live with. A professor brought up an unresearched tribe who lived in the rain forest in the philippines. It wasn't exactly an accident that this tribe was unstudied and totally isolated. They had what many in the west saw as an unfortunate cultural practice.
