The Urban Institute has teamed up with the Dugan Institute to do a national survey on volunteerism and civic engagement. The goal is to help funders understand what needs nonprofits have in order to recruit more volunteers for their organizations. In an earlier version of this article, we incorrectly stated that Dr. Bob Grimm was co-author of the report.
