In jiu jitsu for example when our opponent achieves a dominant position over us say they're about to sink in an armbar or rear naked choke, songFWah can help you improve your position. As another example I recently had a chance to learn from a friend about going spearfishing. You wear a small amount of weight on a belt to help counter your natural buoyancy and help you dive deeper.
