Is There a Need for More Dense Housing in Auckland?

Councils and the government are trying to increase intensification in our biggest cities. In theory if we're able to build so many shed loads of medium density apartments and townhouses we could actually start to improve affordability, says Dr John Geddes. But at the moment we have a calling housing market and probably for a lot of developers it's that rising uncertainty means they won't bulldoze houses right now.
