I was just kind of taking them as data and like, Oh, we all agree that this is necessarily true. Where, in fact, there's not agreement about that, especially with cases like water is H2O. And I think these cases raise empirical linguistic questions... Does the word water get used in the way that sort of critiquing and putting them had in mind? Maybe not always, maybe never. Like, so I do want to allow for that.
