The idea of banning something overall is incredibly difficult unless you had rock solid proof that there was something going on. I think there's an obligation for the government to tell that story to the American public and full disclosure, I intellectually am for a ban. But when you have that many users on it, you have an entire industry built around TikTok. Have you seen their ads? They're on DC TV, which was really interesting. Well, they have a very strong lobbying effort.
The View co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin joins Kara to discuss the fallout from former President Donald Trump's arrest. What does it mean for his campaign? How should presidential hopefuls manage this moment? Has media coverage of Trump’s chaos improved? Plus, UK privacy regulators fine TikTok, and Tim Cook himself warns parents to limit screen times for kids.
You can find Alyssa at @Alyssafarah on Twitter, and on The View.
