The Cowan Brothers - Is That True?
In high school, when you started making those short films, the biggest influence seemed to be the Cowan brothers. I would say Cohen's and then I was obsessed with the Takeshi Catano from the late 90s. What were those early films like? Very weird, very wordless because I couldn't write dialogue to save my life. So it was a lot of quite meaningful staring, kind of absurd, as conceit.
