McCarthy had to make a lot of promises. And he became Speaker barely. He spends the day walking around the Capitol, shaking hands with tourists and showing them where Abraham Lincoln sat. On one level, you know, he's achieved what he wanted to be. Now on a different level, sure, he's a political animal. But his promises are going to come do on this.
