Is the Fed Over Pricing the Odds of a Recession?
Market pricing has given a few concessions to that view over the past month or so yeah. The volume of rate cuts priced in for the second half of 2023 in most global markets has pulled back dramatically but you know they're still there. Katherine Mann from the Bank of England said rates are going to need to remain high for longer and she doesn't see inflation coming down quite as quickly as the market says it will.
