Open APIs - Is There a Future?
I think the writing was on the wall for like open APIs. You know, Instagram had come out and it was obvious that Instagram was never really going to have an open API in the way that Twitter did. And I can't have a whole service that relies on these openAPI when there aren't going to be any open RESTful services at all. So yeah, it's, it's funny. Everything starts small, right? Apple famously started with two Steve's in a garage, an actual garage. Facebook famously started as one kid in a dorm and at Harvard, right? Every, you know, so at some point, Facebook was the size of daring fireball or katki.
