Platform Operator vs Developer - Is There a Difference?

i think there's a fallacy that developers are gong to become more like operators, you know. My thesisis they don't. And the other side, we're saying, its like big companies aren't moving that way either. So i think the overwhelming trajectory on both sides is that these are two separate roles.
