The National Strike

The miners were seen as the people to be in so hard to beat. One of the central contentious issues of the strike was whether a national ballot should have been called. The labor leader Neil Kinneck always says he didn't support the strike because he was sure they were going to lose. It is still highly debatable whether it was a tactical mistake or Arthur scar gill not to call about it.
