The Importance of Signs

I would distinguish signs that are, as you say, natural and those that are extraordinary or miraculous even. For most of us, it is in the ordinary course of our life that it becomes clear whether something is a good fit or not. It's not until we mutually make that choice that we have what we could call vocation in approximate sense.
