Beauty Revealed by Sarah Goodrich

Beauty Revealed is a self-portrait by the American artist Sarah Goodrich who lived from 1788 to 1853. Descendants of US Secretary of State Daniel Webster say Goodrich painted it for him. The miniature painted in watercolors on a sliver of ivory is wrapped in a blood red leather case and closed with two clasps.
