How Much of That Favreau Sensitivity Was Part of Your Pitch as a Director

You're really working through things subconsciously I think and that's one of the great gifts of being able to do what we do as a career. It's not conscious in any way you know and you learn to go to things that interest you or that you are drawn to but you're making instinctive seemingly instinctive choices. But that doesn't mean that they're not valid it's just that your conscious mind isn't doing it  it's coming from a deeper place. The ability to bring the Favreau sensibility to what has become the industry saving genre was something that I think folks will look back on as a real gift.
