The History of St George's Chapel
The original chapel was 1240 and that went on being the royal residence. Initially it was dedicated to centred with the professor as we mentioned after the end of the battle of chukesbury in 1471 Ed with the fourth for all sorts of reasons wanted to build a new chapel so he built the new chapel this huge chapel in front of the previous one. When you go around towards the end of their tour they will see a very big red door with lovely gold iron work in it and that actually is the entrance to the old chapel.
