He's in the middle of the Rocky Mountains. His land is at an elevation of almost ten thousand feet. After his first few months on this land, he liked it enough that he decided to stick around. So he moved into an old mining shack just a few hundred yards away. It burned down a few years ago. He showed me where it used to stand.
