The Origins of the Paul Myth in Japan

In his final days, an official biography of Paul stated that he believed Japan was completely innocent. One might wonder what would lead Red Habanad Paul to vacillate in this way. He appears to have wavered between his public stance as a judge and his true personal feelings. Nakazato Narayaki: It would not be off the mark to conclude that Paul himself shared at least part of the responsibility for the creation of the Paul myth in Japan.
