Isn't Finance a Core to Early Tech Companies?
Finance was not core to early tech companies, in part because software is cheap to make. With the internet, you can kind of multiply the effect of a single creator or a single software author and they can support lots and lots of people. And what's happened is that as with every other sector, finances become the central organizing principle.
