How to Code Effectively
Designers don't need to know how to code exactly, but knowing how to dev will be super helpful. I think mostly one of the key things that having been a developer has benefited me moving into a UX role working with developers is just that I have empathy for what developers go through. It comes down to taking the time and the care to establish understanding with the devs that you're working with. We as UXers have to be really good at asking questions. And we try to gain empathy for these really disparate groups That we're trying to design for.
