Is There a Difference Between Passion and Reason?
Sins from passion are the easiest type of sin to wrap your head around. The passions, as Taylor mentioned, are not inherently rational. They can be influenced by reason, but they are appetites that exist in a level of sense and apprehension. And so we can think very easily of examples when our passions directed us to do something that our reason would not have chosen for us to do.
