The Importance of Sidney Rigdon in the Church
David Whitmer said the church drifted into air and spiritual blindness through the influence of Sidney Rigdon. Joseph Smith was led on to receive revelations and establish offices and doctrines that are not even mentioned originally. I think there is a lot of infighting because you think about David Whitmer and Martin Harris,. Oliver Cowdery and Joseph Smith of the original four, the three witnesses and Joseph Smith all since Sidney Rigdon came in.
