The Dark Side of Political Ideology

The film director Olivia Wiles calling you pseudo-intellectual is the epitome of a lack of intellectual curiosity. You very rarely meet someone who comes up with a novel political idea especially on the ideological front. It's easy to adopt an ideology because it explains everything without any effort and then there's another temptation which is well I'll take my ideology and I will put it in a position that super ordinates the artist. That doesn't have a little whiff of narcissism about it. And it's the death of art.
