What Cohen's Role Will Be in the 2024 Presidential Election

The Taiwan People's Party was competing at the local government election level for the first time since it was established in August of 2019. The TPP filled in 90 candidates including 48 in Taipei, new Taipei, Taoyuan, Tai Jong, Tai Nan and Gao Sheung it won 14 city and county council receipts. It also took the Shinzu city mayor election there when the much under fire candidate and Gao beat out both the DPP and the KMT now the good showing needed to say as did the pundits to speculate the support for outgoing Taipei mayor Jack Kerwinja will get a boost for his possible entry into the 2024 presidential race.
