Liquid staking is you deposit your ETH into a smart contract with a liquid staking protocol. Lido has been pretty popular among a certain vertical. There are some institutional offerings in particular called Ouvio, which there will be I think a number of institutional offerings going forward and institutions who care about these things will probably look at that as an option to direct staking.
