The Dogmas of the Faith
The church's magisterium exercises the authority it holds from Christ to the fullest extent when it defines dogmas. There is an organic connection between our spiritual life and the dogmas. Dogmas are lights along the path of faith. They illuminate it and make it secure. And so, Lord God, we ask you to please help us be faithful, help us to be faithful to what you've called us to help us to receive the dogmas that you have made explicit.
