The Relationship Between Weight Loss Maintenance and Large Weight Gain
The study looked at the relative risks for these weight change categories that Alan has outlined. So large cycle, small cycle, large weight gain, weight loss maintenance. And then it's striking of some of those outcomes where you see those biggest relative risks for the large weight cycling. For example, things like hip fracture, myocardial infarction, stroke and diabetes, you see greater relative risks for large cycle compared to small cycle. But then you have this really hard to explain finding here for weight loss maintenance as well. It could be something that's relatively plausible with what we know about diabetes risk.
