GPD4 is an open-source AI system that can be programmed by programmers. The team has trained a model to predict just the next character in Amazon reviews. It could tell you if a review was positive or negative, and so you see that semantics emerged from a syntactic process. "People who are excellent programmers can do more," says GPD4 co-founder Sam Altman.

How might we develop and deploy beneficial, safe artificial general intelligence for humanity? Reid and Aria are joined by Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI, and Greg Brockman, OpenAI co-founder and president.
