i became fascinated with the difference between, say, phil collins drums and nick mason of pink floyd. All these things just absolutely fascinated me. And i was more drawn to texture and emotional impact than i was to perfection or soaring high notes. But i came to singing much later in my musical development and teaching much later than that.
