A city in europe has had a strange and unusual practice that's been tied to the christmas season. Each year, beginning on the first day of advent, a tall goat crafted of wood and straw is erected as a holiday display. The very first year it was set up, someone did the unthinkable: They burned it to the ground. In fact, over the 54 years that they've been setting it up, the giant yule goat of a la has been burned down 37 times.
