The History of Tibet

The word Tibet means highlands to a whole host of various peoples that live throughout Eurasia. The first real kingdom we have was formed by immigrants around 500 BC and it lasted till 625 CE. After centuries though, there is a resurgence of Buddhism as we get through the ninth century. This leads to something called the Tibetan Renaissance.
