Facebook's business model is literally to force you into an echo chamber where you only hear people who agree with what you agree with. They know that when they do this, you stay on their platform and then they can put ads in front of you so they can make money from advertisers. We're living in kind of the repeat of the beginning of the printing press all of a sudden. And I do think we're at risk of the same kinds of wars, maybe not literal wars, but we're certainly living through figural wars as we're trying to figure out how to live in this new media environment.
